Internal testing shows that travelling rear-facing in the Sirona Ti i-Size can keep your child up to 50% safer compared to forward-facing travel*. Rear-facing allows the seat to absorb and distribute crash forces more evenly across the shell, reducing strain on your child’s neck and spine during an impact.
Rear-facing is mandatory up to 15 months (76cm), and CYBEX strongly recommends keeping your child rear-facing for as long as possible to maximise protection. When your child reaches 15 months and 76cm, you have the option to switch to forward-facing if you wish, offering flexibility as they grow.
There’s no need to purchase an additional base – the Sirona Ti i-Size comes with its ISOFIX base fully integrated. The clever 360° rotation allows the seat to swivel towards the car door, making it much easier to lift your child in and out. This thoughtful feature reduces strain on your back and transforms daily journeys into a smoother, stress-free experience.
Side collisions demand specialised protection. The Linear Side-impact Protection (L.S.P.) System works alongside the energy-absorbing shell to reduce side-impact forces by up to 25% compared to seats without L.S.P.**. The system is foldable, ensuring it fits comfortably even in smaller vehicles without compromising safety.
Your child’s comfort is just as important as their safety. The Sirona Ti i-Size offers five recline positions in both rear- and forward-facing modes, ensuring an ergonomic and supportive position whether your child is awake or asleep. The seat can remain reclined while rotating, so little ones can continue dreaming undisturbed.
A height-adjustable headrest with 12 positions grows effortlessly with your child, while the harness automatically adapts with every adjustment – all manageable with just one hand.
The included newborn inlay and wedge provide essential ergonomic support for babies from 40cm to 60cm, including premature infants. As your baby grows, the inlay can be easily removed to create extra space, ensuring optimum comfort at every stage.
CYBEX’s all-round air ventilation system, enhanced with breathable 3D mesh fabric, promotes airflow and helps prevent overheating. Paired with a retractable UPF50+ sun canopy, your child stays protected from harmful UV rays and harsh glare.
